Dear Supporter of TRP:

Thank you for your support of The Renaissance Project (TRP).  As you are aware, TRP is in its 10th season and we opened this year in April and May with a successful and powerful run of 12 performances of A Raisin in the Sun

Our theatre has been in residence at the Cathedral at Chapel Hill's Performing Arts Center since our inception in 2000.  Due to a change in ownership at the Cathedral, TRP will be moving to a new location.  In order to focus on this exciting opportunity, our Board of Directors has decided that we should postpone until 2010 our remaining performances for the year.  This will allow us to focus our energies and to use our reserve funds for the necessary expenses that will be incurred during this transition.

This year is proving to be truly exciting for TRP.  We received tremendous response from you with the production of Raisin, we launched a new website, and we have expanded our board membership. Now we have this exciting opportunity to establish a new theatre venue for TRP.

As part of our space transition, we will also be kicking off a Capital Campaign to raise financial, in-kind, and volunteer support for our move.  Your continued support is welcome and critical to our successful growth this year and in the future. For more information on how you can help or if you have questions, please email me at info@trp-atl.org.  Continue to visit this website for updates regarding our new location and next year's season.

As always, we appreciate your support.
